The Pilots Lounge
Auburn · five minutes to I-80, a mile to the nearest brewery, trailheads at the edge of town
Two near-identical homes, side by side on Rock Creek Road. Book one. Or take both and put the whole group on one street instead of across one town.
Each unit is a fully remodelled single-storey house: open kitchen, dining and living room, a main bedroom with its own half bath, a second bedroom, and a sleeper sofa that makes six work without anyone on the floor. Fenced yards, garage parking, EV chargers, and a workstation in each — for the meeting you could not move, or the homework that does not care that you are travelling.
Auburn sits where the valley turns into the Sierra foothills. Five minutes to I-80, a mile to the nearest brewery, and the trailheads of the American River canyon start at the edge of town. The airport is close enough that the name is not a joke.
Two dogs per unit, up to 65 lb, $20 per dog per night. The yards are fenced. Booking both sides? Say so on the enquiry and we will hold the pair so the group is not split across two check-in times.

What guests say about both units
“This space was perfect for my husband and I and our two dogs to spend a long weekend in Auburn. The home was very clean and cozy with all the amenities we needed. Our dogs loved being outside in the fully fenced backyard.”
Cassie March 2025“We were relocating from the East Coast and needed a place to stay while our belongings were in transit. The perfect home away from home — clean, organized, and full of the amenities we needed. The garage and EV charger were a bonus.”
Martin December 2024“Beautifully decorated, peaceful, and thoughtfully stocked. Every detail was just right — from the cookware to the labels on everything. The beds were extremely comfortable and the yard was private and serene.”
